Here’s the long and the short of it: I’m a geek. A Star Wars, Harry Potter, Tolkien, Song of Ice & Fire, Battlestar Galactica, Jurassic Park, comic book-loving geek. (Along with several other things that I won’t get into in this introduction.)

As for the saga part of my blog name…I will write – fairly often – about my past, and what is a saga if not a history? Not to mention that sagas have their origins with the Scandinavian and Germanic races – and I descend from both of these (recently/directly, mind you).
